What do I get?

Here's what you get in a KIT:

Custom fit circuit baord to mount you hard drive
Keyboard / Mouse "Y" cable adaptor.
All mounting hardware needed. (longer screws etc...)

For the I-MOD3 Kit you will need a low profile cooling fan, it's NOT INCLUDED in the I-MOD3 Kit!

We recommend ordering the Lasagna Cooler, p/n 50-10-5B-C2 (5V dc/S7 clips) fan from TennMax at www.tennmax.com , let them know you are ordering for the I-MOD2 Kit. We hope they will start putting the proper power connector on them soon, if people request it enough. For now you will want to find some small heat shrink tubing (Radio Shack?).

To see the pictures of the kits (installed) click here for the imod3 or here for ThinkMod.

How long will it take to get one?

Orders are filled as soon as possible, this can be from a few days up to two weeks depending on demand. Your kit is custom made to order, so please be patient, thank you.

As you know, demand goes up and down depending on "news" so only a reasonable amount of parts are ordered at any one time. Please order early so your kit will arrive when your I-Opener does.

Can anyone install a kit?

The I-MOD2 kit is the easiest to install yet. No drilling or cutting at all! You should have prior experience in installing hard drives and computer upgrades in general.

This is a "technical" project, and there is always a chance you can "fry" your I-Opener. We can not be held responsible if you fry your I-Opener!

I ordered two days ago, where is my kit?

Orders are filled as soon as possible, this can be from a few days up to two weeks depending on demand. Your kit is custom made to order, so please be patient, thank you. We can't tell you what the post office is up to.

If it's been over two weeks and you checked the BBS to see if we posted about any delays, you might want to telephone and see what's up. Please remember we are not a mega corporation.

More technical questions? See the I-MOD2 Technical FAQ.

You can also send a check or money order to the address below, e-mail followup too, thanks.
